The CURT Class 3 trailer hitch ball mount represents an upgrade from Classes 1 and 2, designed to handle heavier loads with ease. This robust ball mount features a 2″ x 2″ shank and is specifically engineered for towing heavy-duty trailers, including utility trailers, boat trailers, campers, single-horse livestock trailers, and most recreational vehicle trailers. As the most common type of trailer hitch for pickup trucks and SUVs, the Class 3 ball mount is an ideal pairing for these larger vehicles.

Important Note: Always adhere to the lowest weight capacity of any towing component, including the vehicle, hitch, and trailer.

This Class 3 ball mount boasts a gross trailer weight capacity of 7,500 lbs and a tongue weight capacity of 750 lbs. It has a length of 8-1/4″, a drop of 4″, and can provide a rise of 2″. Each unit is CNC-formed and robotically welded to ensure unmatched precision and reliable strength.
