1. HKS GTIII-4R Special Setup Kit

The GTIII-4R is the modern successor to the legendary TO4Z. It is designed for high-horsepower builds (500+ HP) while maintaining the latest in CHRA (Center Housing Rotating Assembly) technology for improved spool times.

• Best For: High-power street and circuit builds seeking modern reliability.

• Key Components: HKS cast exhaust manifold, φ60 Special Wastegate, wastegate return pipe, and oil/water lines.

   

• Configurations: * Full Kit (14020-AZ003): Includes the GTIII-4R turbine assembly.

   

  • Setup Kit (14020-AZ002): Includes everything except the turbocharger, allowing you to source your own T4-flange turbine.

     

2. HKS GTIII-RS Full Turbo Kit

The GTIII-RS is a highly responsive, mid-range turbocharger designed for those who want a “broad” power band rather than just peak top-end numbers.

• Best For: Response-focused builds, drifting, and tight technical tracks.

• Target Output: Approximately 350–450 HP depending on supporting mods.

• Design: Utilizes a high-mount layout and includes a cast manifold designed for durability under extreme heat.

   

3. HKS T04Z & T04S Series (Legacy/Classic)

While the GTIII series is the current flagship, the T04Z and T04S kits are still available through specialty JDM distributors. These are “old school” big singles known for their signature sound and raw power delivery.

• T04S (approx. 400 PS): A compact single turbo kit designed to replace deteriorated factory twins with minimal complexity.

• T04Z (approx. 500-600 PS): A heavy hitter featuring a ball-bearing CHRA for better transient response than traditional journal-bearing big singles.
